The Proclaimers
There’s no greater experience than hearing the best music coming from the biggest band in the world right in front of your very eyes. With concert tickets to your favourite shows to gig tickets and beyond, you could witness some memorable events.
Tickets to the best gigs around can be hard to come by and for the biggest bands these pieces of paper can be highly coveted. This is because they are world famous artists performing at some of the biggest and most famous venues in town. People want to see rock idols and popstars in the flesh and witness their amazing talents in a live setting.
Coming in October, The Proclaimers will be making an appearance at the HMV Apollo in Hammersmith. The famous Scottish band, responsible for classics like “Sunshine on Leith”, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) and “Letter from America”, will be belting out their brilliant songs to adoring fans on Thursday 22nd October 2009.
Charlie and Craig Reid, from Fife, have been part of the band since 1983 and were brought to the public attention in 1986 when they supported The Housemartins on tour. However, many people today may remember their recent re-release of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” alongside Phoenix Nights star Peter Kay.
