The Dodge Brothers

With new technologies changing the way in which we enjoy music and film in the home, from DVDs and CDs to mp3 players and media players on computers, one thing that has remained the same is the live music scene. This is one form of entertainment that doesn’t need to change – all that it needs is the great music from some of the biggest bands in the world. Instead of buying the latest release in the shops or purchasing it online, people can buy concert tickets and head down to the nearest venue, where they will witness something they will remember forever.

One such gig experience will be The Dodge Brothers, when they hit The Garage in October, ready to shock those who see it as one of its band members is the television film critic Mark Kermode. Along with band members Mike Hammond, Alex Hammond and Aly Hirji, The Dodge Brothers will be arriving with their sound of rockabilly, bluegrass, folk, country and blues following appearances on shows such as BBC’s “The Culture Show”. This British skiffle band will be great for fans of the ‘hillbilly’ sound, with banjos, slap bass and harmonicas all in one.
